Catalytic converters? Emissions tests? What's that?

Lived in CA for 20 years...moved to FLA in '00.

Here's the difference between the two states in a nutshell:

CA
Emissions testing - opressive
Gas prices - $$$
Assault weapons - banned
Vehicle reg. - $300/yr.
Concealed weapons - No
State Income Tax - yep
House near ocean - $$$$$$$$$$

FLA
Emissions testing - none
Gas Prices - $
Assault weapons - all legal
Vehicle reg. - $35/yr.
Concealed weapons - Yes
State Income Tax - nope
House near ocean - $

I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon! Good luck with your dual cats or whatever you call those things... :D

D. Ocean
Miami, FLA

Hurricanes: yes : house falls into the drink, vette floats away

AZ

House near ocean - PRICELESS

Come on, guys - let's not have a FL-CA war here.
Yeah FL has major hurricanes, and CA has major mudslides.

Truth be told: they are both great places to visit,
but who would really want to live there ? If you're not
going to have four seasons, might as well move to Hawaii.
:D
