I’ve been putting this job off for a long time but I would like to start thinking about what I will have to do. I’ve posted pics from under the dash and from the door view. Can this be repaired from the inside by removing the dash and avoid removing the front clip. Also are these metal parts available, if so where?

that sucks ive been there though,
the front clip should come off for a good worth while repair.
id look for a good solid birdcage donor to get great fitting oem pieces.
if not available you can get the inside piece, and the outer corner, however it is for i think 73 + so some modification is necessary.

Default Good resource for you

There is a guy (mainevette) that is doing a body off restoration of a 71 that had similar issues on the windshield frames. I think it is “corvette restoration project”. Very good photos and write-up. I learned a lot from his work.
