First, I hope this thread finds its way to the technical area as I have not found a thread starter while searching individual sections?
My question is that during my restoration efforts of this 81', I have a small spaghetti size vacuum line just outboard of the wiper motor towards the drivers side. It is adjacent to a relay which I suspect to be air conditioning related? All other heater/ac spaghetti lines are already connected. Can anyone tell me the purpose and connection point of this line?
Thanks,
PDM
Thanks. Tried to do so on my own but often times the thread starter does not appear on the page in which I wish to post even thought I am logged in????
Looks to be your MAP (manifold air pressure) sensor. It provides engine load conditions to the ECM (engine control module) for a CCC (computer controlled carburetor).
