Hello all, I’m replacing my temperature gauge with one I purchased on a popular Corvette site. My question is about the resistor that came with the new one. Do I use the new one which it appears to just be a piece of plastic or do I use the original resistor that’s on my factory gauge?
I asked that question because I am unsure if the new gauge needs a resistor across the three and 9 o’clock position.
I did check the resistance on my old one and it’s 90ohms.
See pics. Left original gauge, on the right the new gauge.
