Claret versus Red

Hey Guys,

I have a 1980 that is Red on Red. I want to replace faded carpets and door panels etc.. The interior color options for 1980 are Red or Claret and I don't really know what I have as much of it has faded. Is there any way to tell?

Red is Red. It is bright almost tomato red.
Claret is wine colored. Its dark.
I doubt you can get them confused.

Inside the driver side door frame. It looks like this (found on the web).

Thank you for the great tip on the trim tag. I found out its a 722 trim code which is Red Leather not claret.
