Let me throw this out there. When I was trying to get the original oil pan off I was tapping it with a mallet and trying to pry it off using the inspection shield as leverage. I didn’t think I was pushing too hard. Is it possible that it could be the scrape from the inspection shield?

Yep.....very common. Remove it and see if it goes away.

Very possible. The sound in the video sounds just like an inspection shield/splash guard rubbing against the crank end/fly wheel.
Had that once when I ran over a block of ice that fell of the truck in front of me.
I am posting a picture but o e of the tabs to the inspection plate bent into the clutch area. I bent it back and paint it orange. But this was the culprit. I bent it when I was trying to wedge the old oil pan out.
