dont have a pic. but during my resto i had a similar missing piece. The units are quite expensive and i decided to fix it myself.
i used a piece of 3/16" (or 10 ga?) flat bar and cut it into a wedge shape to fit. i broke it around to accept the bolt , like to original. I was able top glue with epoxy and rivet the piece directly into place on the headlight support.
worked like a charm and saved my (iirc) like 300 bucks..

I just rebuilt some of the Headlight assembly's myself. When in a crash these are the first part that gets broken. Paragon sells a replacement for around $230. I see e-bay has some re pops for 1/2 that. Used ones command a pretty good price cause everybody needs them. I will say however that Headlight assembly's sell for less today than they did 15 years ago. A local C3 parts guy sells used assembly's for $300 complete. Keep in mind that there is an early and late version of these and they are not interchangeable.

i thought that was what you meant. you need the top one. bottom is chrome bumper car. and i do not think they are sold repop. if that is damaged, the nose attached to it is also. might be best to shop for a whole nose. and you are in france...

Derek.....Bubba made the reinforcement bar for the '76 nose he grafted onto my '68.
It looks as though he took a long piece of 3/16" thick flat-bar and bent it to fit flush against the inner nose.
Then he welded tangs at each location where a bolt would be attached to the reinforcement bar.
It must have been one of those "last resort" ideas....but it was much stronger/stouter than the OEM piece.
Just throwing that out there if "worse comes to worse".

he is in france, tony. and sounds like he knows what he is about. i betcha he would appreciate bubbaescue pics and measurements. you have altered a lot of things on your 68. many of them make the guy who designed it in the first place look like bubba.
