Do you have a part number for that fuel filter adapter? That would work well on the frame between the tank and the steel line and I wouldn't have to take things apart to change it.

I'll run that by the spousal unit again, he didn't think it would work/last last time I talked to him about it.

Sorry, no I don't, it was custom made by my husband who didn't want to spend the money on a retail one. Adapters for the 1R-0750 filters are available on ebay, just do a search for cat fuel filter 1R-0750 and some of the adapters should pop up. There are multiple different adapters for different fuel line sizes.

I bought a holley type dual feed rail that summit sells that has a built in fuel gauge and a removable brass fuel filter inside. I have the popular generic black and aluminum 30 micron AN fitting filter but couldn't find a convenient place to mount it so I went with this option instead. I'll know when the filters plugging up as my gauge reading should decrease when that happens.

After I saw what "pryia" posted, showing the Cat diesel filter, I was going to suggest a Fram HPG-1, but I just took a look, and it turns out they're now discontinued.....

Hmmm, folks using diesel motor oil, diesel fuel filters...... Maybe try diesel fuel instead of gas?

Every third tank I fill up with diesel to keep the compression rings lubricated.

Hey everyone, the filter came in about 3 days ago but had to wait again because I needed to also buy a female/female AN coupling for the other end to go on. Fits great thank you again so much, really saved me a decent amount of cash, only for it to go into a bunch of other little $h!+ for the car lol

I did hardlines at the engine to hang my filter and also one with rubber hose by the tank.
