No Blower in "Norm"
So I thought I would start ringing out wires to the relay and resistor and such, but came across something odd. In the same shop manual, it shows me wires (orange ones) which should be on terminal 52 of the AC Controller - which I don't have. Nor do I have the +12 volt brown wire on terminal 50 going to the resistor, I have the +12 from the fuse panel, but that's it. I haven't confirmed, but I assume the 12v to the resistor is there, just coming from somewhere else. My connector on the AC unit, is only using two green (confirmed to idle stop and pressure switch), brown from 12v fuse panel and yellow (to blower switch). In essence, using only 3 terminals vs. the four shown in the drawing. Do I need these orange wires? Anything to do with the missing blower in norm position?
Otherwise, as shown below... the color wires at both the relay and the resistor connectors appear to be correct to the drawing.
I suspect I am missing an orange wire through the harness somewhere to the relay tied into the blower switch - does that make sense? I wonder though... I don't think I've ever even seen a photo with the ac connector with anything more than just the green, brown and yellow??? Anyone have the orange wires on theirs? I have also seen a couple of the AC control switches that use a 4 terminal connector, while the one I have is only 3? Is that another issue I have?
Do I need this one???
Could use a little bit of guidance, or suggestions on this one. I hate to wire something up, run a new wire, apply 12v in the wrong place and fry the progress up to now. Any suggestions would be helpful - Thanks!
