Default Power steering

This seems very odd, got into a situation where I had to lock up the brakes , I continued on and realized I had no power steering, no leaks and reservoir is full, any ideas

thanks ,but that was the first thing I checked, maybe just coincidence but it looks like either the pump crapped out at that particular time, or there's a problem with the pressure relief valve in the pump. Thanks for the input

Yes, checking output pressure from the pump would be the first thing to check. The regulator valve [set] may have had a failure. If you find the pump is making adequate pressure, the fault would point toward the control valve.
