Water Pump Question
I have a 1980 and a friend I just pulled the engine to replace it with a BluePrint 400ci. While we're at it, I'm replacing the accessory drive with a serpentine setup from a 4.3L Vortech. My friend has the parts and says it will fit.
I know I will need a reverse flow water pump.
I'm looking on Summit's site and I have a few questions for those of you in the know:

- Do I get Short of Long?
- Is the pilot diameter .625 (most common it seems)?
- What inlet diameter? 1.800", 1.875" or 1.75"?

use the pump from that 4.3L ... or one exactly like it. You didn't state which vehicle year & model that serp setup is from ?
and it's Not reverse flow ... it Is reverse rotation ... and (unless you're going to electric fan) requires a reverse rotation/pitch FAN

I don’t think he has the pump for it, but I’ll ask what model and year the other parts are from.
