Both the black and the black/white are POSITIVE pick one and tape off the other and supply a separate ground.

If you use the black/white wires- the voltmeter will stay on all the time- possibly draining the battery.
You'll want to use the PINK wire - used on the Fuel and temp gauges- voltmeter will only be on during ignition.
For the ground - the back of the cluster will work

That's how I did mine. For

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...in-a-68-a.html . The wiring instructions come in the box with the gauge.

I'll be ditching my ammeter when I go to electric fans. Does anyone make a stock looking voltmeter with the green letters/numbers? My '71 has the green gauges.

Did the vendor do that for you Richard? Or did you just black-out TEMP and use transfer lettering to add OIL????
Either way, it looks good....

It's an 81-82 gauge with the 71 face - Corvette Instrument Service did it for me. Using it on the dry sump tank.
