Gas cap gasket
I bought a new gas cap from one of the Vette stores a few months back, don’t remember which one. The gasket has detached from the cap, nearly dropped it in the tank!
What type of glue do you think would work for repairing this? Maybe a bit of RTV black? Or is RTV attacked by gas?

RTV is DEFINITELY attacked by gasoline.
