1979 super T 10 trans. I pulled this off when i replaced the clutch and i dont remember how it goes on. What does the rod connect to? Which hole does it go in on the switch? Pics would help a lot.

these are from a muncie but it should be close. The bracket is adjustable so when you mount it, have the car in reverse with the key in the on position and you should see the lights come on as you get the switch to the on position. Then after you mount it take it out of reverse and if it doesnt go off you just twist the whole switch itsef until it shuts off then tight it and test again.THe shield should point down to protect it from road splash and bouncing debris
