How much/where if any trimming of the Shifter Hole can I expect when fitting an M20 in place?

BTW: Engine removed already for Freeze Plug replacement.
I happen to have the center console apart on my 76 4 speed - it doesn't look to me like you will have to do any cutting, you might actually have to pop rivet a piece of tin in there and cut it back out for the 4 speed shifter boot.
