1973 Corvette
I own a 1973 Corvette with a 350. Last week I took the car for a ride and after about 3 hours of it sitting, I went to start it up and it died. After a few more times, it finally ran but something didn't seem right because the RPMs were running low (500-550). I talked to my dad and he said it was a vacuum problem. We FaceTimed tonight and we figured it was not a vacuum problem but, a carburetor problem. The car has a Holly 750. After the car was running for 5 minutes and it was warmed up I put the car in drive and the RPMs dropped again to 500-550. The car also idles at 650-700. To me, the car sounds like it is barely hanging on when in drive. Has anyone has this issue before or knows how to change it? Thank you and drive safe!

Curb idle - 700
Drive idle - 550
A drop of 150 RPM when going from Park to Drive.
This is normal, adjust your curb idle up a little as kansas123 stated and it should be fine.
