I have a 1978 Anniversary L48 that I have had for 40 years. I drove it for a few years and then it was in storage for quite a while. I have been working on it for a few years now and have replaced or repaired the entire drivetrain and suspension. I am now trying to figure out the vacuum lines and am looking for detailed pictures or diagrams to replace existing hoses. I purchased a vacuum line kit from Zip Corvette and it did not have a diagram. I am not confident that all the lines are in the proper place. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks, John.

The vacuum and emissions hose hookups are shown in your Assembly Instruction Manual and in your Service Manual in the "Engine Emissions" section. I'm not at my office now, or I could send you scans of the info that's in your manuals. You do have the manuals..?
Can you post a photo of what you do have? If you are missing some components due to the actions of a previous owner (PO), the stock vacuum diagram may not work immediately.
A few photos of the engine compartment, with the air cleaner assembly removed, should help out the folks on the forum. And a beauty shot of the car, of course. Welcome to the Forum!
The owners manual is a small pamphlet. @lars' image is from the shop (service) manual, which is much larger. That, and the factory assembly manual, are must-haves for any C3 owner that works on their own car. All of the vendors, and even RockAuto, have reproductions. Some sell searchable PDFs. If you can find a used original copy, it is likely to have better quality images.
It looks like 1978 had a combined shop manual with other Chevy models. Ebay example below. In 1979, the Corvette Shop Manual had only Corvettes.

This is what the emissions decals in your engine compartment should look like - they show the house routing. In addition to the routing and schematics being in your shop manual and in your AIM, you can simply order these decals from any of the Vette suppliers, install them on your car, and have them as a handy reference as they were intended.
I have a 1978 L48 automatic, 35k miles with the original emission hose routing in place if you need help with specifics. Best as suggested to post pictures of engine top from both sides with air cleaner off. We can tell if components are in place and any misrouting of hoses.
