Mixture Control Solenoid Error Code 23
Check engine light came on today and I checked the code by jumping wires under the ashtray and got code 23. Strange thing is my corvette has Holley Street Avenger and does not have Electrically controlled QJET. The connector is no where to be found near the carb. So I am little confused how can I get code 23.
update here is up what found. Mixture solenoid connection has been disconnected by previous owner when Holley was installed. Picture below. Should i short the connectors with a pin? Also my vacuum advanced port on the HEI distributor does not have connection. If you see the picture there’s brown vacuum fitting line near the cowl that i also pulled up. Does that need to be plugged in or block vacuum port on dizzy with rubber cap
Thanks.

It looks like the 81 ECM is completely redundant, but I don't want to advise pulling the fuse on it until it is confirmed that there is a 4-wire distributor in there. It has no vacuum can, so is it possible that the ECM is still controlling the timing, but not the carb? Are there aftermarket 7-wire distributors?
Anyway, consider this a bump to get some more eyes on the problem for those who know about 81s.
OP, if you still don't get an answer, please consider starting (another) new thread, with the photos from the first thread, and "1981 CCC ECM" in the title.
