Original copies of the wiring diagram are available from Papadana on this site.......there is a thread here in tech, just ask and he will send you one for free.A must for your files.
You can reverse engineer it with the right diagram.

It would be wonderful to get a schematic

Anyway….the link is above!
There are no words to accurately describe my woe and depression after seeing this.......
Many other ways to secure an automobile without that terrible pile of ****......
For Instance, a switchable 30a relay for the 12v PWR connection at the HEI. Simple and effective.....
I worry when I am driving my C3 in a bad area (like near the Capitol in D.C.). Is there a way to put a "Time Delay" shut-off on the engine so the car thief would get go about a block before it shuts down? This way you have a chance to hide or get help before they find you after the car-jacking. If the car is being car-jacked I would like to be sure they don't get far so I would like a button or switch that when pushed that will kill the engine in 60 seconds after they take it (IF they can drive a 4 speed).
If I saw a pile of wiring like that I would not buy the Corvette. That car is "Bubbafied" and undoing the damage to the wiring system might take a pro to figure it all out.
Having a "Convertible" means Nothing is "sacred or private" anymore. People reach down to my interior, touch the dashboard and touch parts and have even taken things like the original 1968 Radio control ***** I had stolen from my Corvette while at Corvettes@Carlisle by a fellow Corvette owner who coveted the original ***** for the radio. Another time some fool stole my Handicapped Parking Permit off my rear view mirror. For some reason people think since it is open it is available to take should you want it.
I am now leaving nothing valuable available to be lifted out of the Interior. I also leave the doors unlocked so they won't cut up the convertible top.
I used to disconnect the battery when in a questionable area. Here's something that's better. A thief is not going to take the time to find out why the car won't start.

A good delay to use would be a couple rounds fired out of your 9mm, .45, or 12 ga scatter gun!!

I was able to remove the thug bug. Once I found the brain (tucked inside fender) i was able to trace the wiring. As I expected it tapped into the tach wire on the HEI distributor. Turns out it was not as difficult as I thought.
