you can seal a bathtub like that. bathtubs don't generate vacuum and blowby. fine drive it. don't drive it too far. now get the correct manifold gasket. and stop using the rubber china wall gaskets.

That's about what it reminds me of.

Have to install the Ignition Shielding after checking the timing once more, then the Air Cleaner.
I imagine no high RPMs for a while during Break-In. When do you re-torque the bolts on aluminum Cylinder Heads?
Thanks Derek.

If torqued properly in the first place with quality gaskets.
You shouldn't need to re-torque head bolts.

And, ah, I'd pull that intake back off and do that properly.

I believe you would too, judging by your high standards.
If you knew what I've gone thru most of 2021 and so far in 2022 with this car, you might understand my urgency in driving it now. Someday I will: it's the proper thing to do.

Thanks.

I know; late to the party.
I would not have used those thick 0.120" intake gaskets unless deck milling absolutely Dictated it. Perhaps only elongating intake's bolt holes.
Nor would I have used the rubber china wall seals.
Nor would I have used right stuff on intake ports as well as china walls; it may be a bear next time you R&R it.
