It looks like you can see the corners of the lower intake (the part that bolts to the heads). I'd ask the seller to flip it over and send some more photos, though.
Are you so new to 82s that you haven't seen this video? 41 years ago.
No, they are ALL Renegades developed by myself and another guy back in the DCS days. They were produced by two different company's over time. At first they were poured and machined here in the local Phoenix, AZ area. Then we leased the tooling to a company in CA to pour and machine the intakes. They did a horrible job of machining after a bit and we finally pulled our tooling from them. I have since then refurbished the tooling like new from the original pattern maker here in Phoenix. The tooling is ready to go, all I need is a foundry that will pour the manifolds at a reasonable price per unit which is the issue. If that was to happen the Renegade would be available once again.
If a Renegade has a serial number stamped in it, it is for sure a good unit. If not stamped, that means EMS did the unit and I can not say that it is 100% good, but it may be if early enough. The units from EMS were never stamped with a serial number that I am aware of. I hope this helps in your understanding.
BTW...Porting an original stock manifold is a good idea and will flow a lot more than a stock one for sure. It just won't flow as much as the Renegade, that's all.
I wish you would talk to Speedway about doing your intake manifold , They make a nice Ford FE blower manifold and I bet the market for your intake is much larger than the FE blower manifold market , they would take you seriously since you have the tooling and patterns and not just some guy with an idea.

@Bikespace I can say I’m so new to this that the video is 4 years older than I am. Good video though lol. I believed from the picture that the lower part was in the box as well. Seller hasn’t been easy to deal with. What price should I be looking to pay for this part?

I'm not up to date on what 82-specific parts cost. And if that unit isn't blessed by @Buccaneer, I'd be hesitant to buy it even if it were free.
I can say that a fully loaded aluminum LS intake can be had for less than $1000, and less than $500- for the bare intake. Not much of a comp, and for a different Chevy V8, but that might help set an upper bound on price. I try not to deal with difficult sellers, but they are hard to avoid when what you are looking for is so rare.
So, if you are an eBay member, perhaps search for completed auctions?

They were selling for $625 when we pulled our tooling from EMS. They had six manifolds in their possession at the time and asked if I wanted to buy them...I said NO WAY IN HELL! Since these are in high demand nowadays and I get calls and emails almost daily about this subject, you will have to work out a price that both parties are happy with. I don't know what you guys mean by lower part of the manifold? That pic IS a complete manifold, top plate attached to the lower piece, there isn't anything else. Pull the top plate off and see if it has been bolted onto to an engine before and pulled back off. I would have to have a good look at it to determine if it was a good one or not. Even if it had a minor flaw, it can more than likely be repaired. Check the front and rear water passages to see that they are clear all the way across with no obstructions. Also, check that the CTS sensor hole in front IS the correct size before installing. EMS screwed that up as well. Much easier to correct when not installed. GL with your purchase.
it looked to me like a top plate thrown in a box with some stuff under it. i have a tendency to ask questions i think the interested party needs to be sure of the answer to.
