There’s not a whole lot on YouTube but do you have to remove the window and track to replace the window motor.
Last summer, I pulled the motor from one of my '72's doors to clean and regrease it because of slow action. I certainly did not pull the window or track to remove it. Not a difficult job but like all things C3, you're working in a tight space where some of it is by feel only.

Ditto here. You just need something to hold the window etc., up when doing the job. Not that difficult.

Thanks,I did get the motor removed without messing with window, now might be another issue getting it back on,because,I am replacing the motor, and new teeth, but I think maybe a little grease or vasiline on teeth to slip in.and greasing the slide bars also.
Keep in mind the motor's teeth can be turned. If you can't do it by hand, I don't remember, put 12 volts to the motor. Just be sure to hold the motor well as it will "jump" a little at first when voltage is applied.
