Noticed Parking/Tail Lights no workie this morning. Found this brass nut on the Driver's forward floor area. Never thought much of it. It's got some sealer on it, similar to the stuff around the Fuse Box/Panel.
Anyway, checked EVERY glass fuse in the box on this '73 and all are good. All other circuits appear good.
Before I dive into the combination Headlight/Parking/Vacuum Switch, I am hoping someone might shed light on the problem and maybe have an answer as to the light fix, and perhaps if this nut might have something to do with it. It's one of those God-blessed 11/32 size, like what's on the factory Starter Terminal.
I've been thinking about this all afternoon and I can't remember any brass nut under the dash, firewall, console, hvac, over there. The bulkhead / fuseblock nut doesn't look like that either.
Anyway, here's a bump for ya

on the taillight issue, are your dash lights working? Check the power leaving the fuse with the lights on. The way my 68 is wired the power goes to the switch, then when its turned on it goes to the fuse panel, back to the switch then out to the harness.
my issue was corrosion on the back of the fuse panel ate through the circuit
