Default XS Power side pipes

Hi guys,
I purchased a set of stainless steel side pipes for my 70 Vette years ago from XS Power. I’ve been very happy with them. I have need for another set for a project car and have left them 2 voicemails and 1 email but haven’t received a reply.
Does anyone know if they are still in business and if so how to get ahold of them.
Thanks,
Rob

I'm fairly sure (99%) they used to be a premium reseller of the chinese pipes also sold as OBX and Maximizer pipes, But I havent seen them advertised in a long time. The website is still live to place an order? If you look at their other products they are the same photos as the generic stuff on ebay as well.. Same gaskets as Mine came with in the same packaging as well.

You can still get the pipes though on amazon and ebay and for less than they were charging even 9 years ago if I remember right. Back then I bought my stainless sidepipes new shipped for $650. When I discovered they were the very same pipes being resold for $1300+ shipping under the other brand name I tried to give others a heads up but since that seller was a sponsor here then I got reprimanded and my comments deleted which I felt was pretty lousy .

For some reason the small block version are hard to come by in the last year or so. The OBX branded ones do not have polished welds so that would need to be done with a dremel. But I think the maximizers are already polished which was why they sold for a bit more. Either way it doesnt take long, took me about 30 minutes to have my OBX welds looking like the rest of the stainless pipes. the prices have increased dramatically from what they were when I bought mine perhaps because it caught on what a value they were for the $

There are 3 manufacturers of these that im aware of,
hooker,
Dougs,
An unknown chinese manufacturer, which supplies resellers that sell them under multiple brand names.

No Your correct but they do still list them as available and for order... and their facebook page is still active so..

There are a few others still showing these for sale but I do believe the chinese manufacturer may have stopped making them since most places only carry the much slower selling big block version and its been that was for at least a couple years now https://www.moderngenauto.com/C2-C3-...k_p_25459.html

From their facebook page it seems they have taken to doing most of their sales on amazon and ebay now. on ebay they sell as black panther motorsports perhaps thats someone liquidating their old inventory who knows..

after looking at the photos in the XS pdf I see now they werent even polishing the welds... Those are exactly what I bought myself as obx brand.

About four years ago, I couldn't find them for small block and got lucky, a forum member had a new set for sale. I was leery, but they fit and the finish is nice. I think there was an XS Power sticker in the box.

Thanks for the help guys.
I wasn’t comfortable sending money to a company that I couldn’t verify was actually in business so I ordered a set from Doug’s.
to bad because I really have been very happy with the set I got from XS Power.
