Where do the wires from that lead to?

87.743% sure it's not a factory installation.
Looks like electrician's tape in the lower left of the photo. Is that where the unit is wired in?
Appears to be a fan motor of some sort. What's on the front side of the unit?

No, I believe it's a factory installed piece. That's too nice of an installation.

take a closeup pic of the top of that motor. i tried blowing up the reflection of it in your hood, but it should have identifiable name, part number or something on it. if it was oem, we would all have one in our cars.

It's certainly a well done pair of braces. I can't come up with a factory feature or option that used such a motor in that location.

What does the front side look like? Anything hooked to it?

all else fails, jumper the wires with 12v and see what happens. It’s a motor or something, siren?

There’s nothing else attached to it other that those wires. It is well attached and doesn’t seem to be an add on by someone just can’t figure it out

Whatever it is, this looks a lot like it - sans the center shaft on the forward side: https://www.ebay.it/itm/133513086732

Hmmm?
The installation certainly does look professional, almost factory. But it's an Italian piece. Can you locate a part number on this device?
And what is the word above "RABOTTI"?

It looks like a air horn motor but without the bell horn, or tubing missing.

So what did I win jack … it only made sense big blocks were notorious for overheating and a cool down fan would be nice to have even if I was for a Ferrari 😜😂
