I am getting my LS5 back together and could use some pictures without the air cleaner to see how things are ran on these motors. Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm getting super close to having this thing back on the road for the first time since 1988 and am beyond excited.
Do you have the Assembly Manual for '70? The illustrations will inform you of the correct components and some bit of routing. After that you'll need to do some sleuthing to uncover what differences there are between '70 and '72 (due to limited pics of '70-only), but the major items are pretty similar. Do you have the emissions equipment like the TCS? Things also change with options like A/C, power brakes, and power steering.
