1977 four speed headers for ground clearance
so, we just picked up this 1977 four speed car fpr hpde and street use. 383 with a big cam, four speed, and most of the van steel catalog thrown at it.
Problem is, that the headers and exhaust are STUPID low. We already have a kevco pan on the way that will be two inches shorter than what is there now thats even with the headers. We don't know what brand these headers are.
We want to start over again at the exhaust ports. And get Side pipes in the process.
so, what are we looking for? Wed prefer long tubes, would settle for mid length, and would love to skip shorties.
Thanks in advance!

Sidepipes are also an option for you, and open up lots of space to fix drivetrain issues when racing. The sidepipe header manufacturers seem to know how to measure a Corvette correctly.

My hooker super comps with a 8 1/2 inch deep road racing pan. My bell housing is lower than the headers.
