Seat belts?????
My seatbelts just broke yesterday and i dont have to money to buy new corvette seatbelts. I have heard that camaro seatbelts will fit. Does anybody know where I can get good seatbelts lap and shoulder for a '73? Or what other cars belts will fit? Does anybody have any good saddle or black colored belts for sell in good condition? :cry :chevy

It's the rear belts from a 93-up camaro/firebird that fit. Shoud be cheap at a junkyard. You have to make a bracket to mount them horizontally, I think, so they lock. Joe

I used rear seat belts out of a Geo Storm. I dyed them using Rit dye. I had to drill a new hole to mount them, that was easy. They also came with a belt guide that I had to re-position and weld in place. I built a mounting point at the bottom out of angle iron that bolts to the place the old belt guide mounted right next to the door sill. I bolted the buckle end to the same mounting point at the original Vette one. They work very well, and didn't cost much at all. :)
