Hi everyone, I am finally getting my 72 Corvette back together again. Today my buddy and I installed the correct dated GM water pump, the correct r Schwiter fan clutch, and AC compressor. When installing the AC compressor, the stock one mind you, it’s original AC compressor totally rebuilt and original to the car! There’s an extra wire we couldn’t figure out where it goes to. It was near the electrical clip for the AC compressor along with the black ground wire. Does anybody know where this goes? See the two pictures I post thank you Joe from New Hampshire
Thanks for your picture from your 72 David! I’m not at home today so I won’t be able to tell if my compressor has this electrical connection or not. Is your Ac compressor original to the car? What’s the build date on your 72? My 72 was built the first week of November 71. I hope that’s the case! Does anyone else have an original AC compressor in their 72 that has this electric connector on the rear of the compressor?
Thanks
Joe
