I have A problem at the amp meter it points
al the time to zero. ( new gauge) I have at Both wires at te meter the Same voltage (running) the the bk-white wire goos to the jc block . The black wire from the meter goes to the starter wire with a fuselink And the same wire from the starter goes to the jc block.
(battery is Charging)
New altenator
where does the wires have to go? Or is there somthing else

You should list the year of your Corvette as the meters and the wiring is not the same for all model years. Look on the Willcox Tech site for step by step instructions on how to test your meter. I am guessing you are not from the US, but your English is ok.

Unfortunately not😕 I am from the Netherlands
I have already tested the meter
2025 c3 ('74-'82) of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
2019 C3 of Year Finalist (appearance mods)
Testing the battery gauge:
Connect a GROUND to the TOP post and momentarily just touch 12 volts to the BOTTOM post and the meter will deflect downward (minus side).
Connect a GROUND to the BOTTOM post and momentarily touch 12 volts to the TOP post, the meter needle should deflect upwards ( positive side).
Nervous about 12 volts then use a flashlight battery.

You should use Google to find a wiring schematic for your model year car, they have been posted on the Forum often. If the wiring harnesses / individual wires have been “Altered” you may have to check continuity between the gauge and the other end of the wire
(wherever it goes).

You need to now check that the fusible links and wiring for the engine harness and headlamp harness are correct. The alternator should be hooked up to the horn relay and goes through another fusible link down to the starter where it feeds the battery. The headlamp fusible link that the gauge connects to should be connected at the horn relay. To test the gauge you should be able to just turn on the headlights or put a draw on the battery.
If the fusible links show “Continuity.” Do you know how to test “CONTINUITY” on your meter? If the fusible link shows “Continuity, then I would try and run a TEMPORARY wire from the gauge (disconnect the Existing white/Lt blue WIRE FIRST) to horn relay. If this does not fix the gauge, then I would disconnect the Black wire from the gauge and run a TEMPORARY Wire to the middle connection on the alternator. GOOD LUCK
