I'm trying to complete the vacuum to electric headlight conversion using Miata headlight motors. I tested them prior to installation and both worked. I have them installed and they are not working. I'm using Richard454's kit and we are both stumped. Here is how I have it wired up.
The red wire from the relay supplied by Richard is connected to the White/Red wire on the motors
The Red wire from the motor is connected to the green wire on relay
The Yellow wire from the motor is connected to the yellow wire on relay and black is connected to ground,
Does this sound correct? This is the plug from headlight motor
Here are my 2 cents. On power windows which have DC Motors, aren’t the switches double pole double throw? I believe that to raise up the window, positive and negative is applied to the motor, and then to lower the window both wires (positive and negative) are reversed, hence 4 wires to the switch. I have no clue on the fifth wire?
