Default Thinking About.....Hydroboost

Seems I can't leave well enough alone. But lumpy cams don't produce much vacuum, and I do need brakes from time to time. Not going to change to manual brakes, and don't want to use a vacuum canister. So, hydroboost is my desired choice. I'm considering The Hydratech #3004, for 68-76 Corvettes with the earlier master cylinder like mine with the long rod (I can keep my MC). http://www.hydratechbraking.com/C3Corvette.html After reading threads and watching videos, it seems the worst part of the job is removing the power brake booster......it's like giving birth to get that thing out ! Those with hydroboost....all good? I have Borgeson steering......should work OK, installation like stock?

The only negative with hydro boost is the cost.

If you are a DIY guy, here is a pretty good thread by Mooser.
I had to change up a couple of fittings and I have a Rack and Pinon tied to it but there is a good bunch of knowledge and information in there...

I just ordered a new Hydratech system today. I'll have plenty of time to study, since lead time is 90 days. (Ouch!)

I used Hydratech on a couple of hot rod projects and they worked very well.

I did my own rack and HB conversion long before any kits were out......about 20? years ago.....

Ditch that prop valve on the frame under the master cyl.....just run the lines direct to the m/cyl.....
