Seems I can't leave well enough alone. But lumpy cams don't produce much vacuum, and I do need brakes from time to time. Not going to change to manual brakes, and don't want to use a vacuum canister. So, hydroboost is my desired choice. I'm considering The Hydratech #3004, for 68-76 Corvettes with the earlier master cylinder like mine with the long rod (I can keep my MC). http://www.hydratechbraking.com/C3Corvette.html After reading threads and watching videos, it seems the worst part of the job is removing the power brake booster......it's like giving birth to get that thing out ! Those with hydroboost....all good? I have Borgeson steering......should work OK, installation like stock?
If you are a DIY guy, here is a pretty good thread by Mooser.
I had to change up a couple of fittings and I have a Rack and Pinon tied to it but there is a good bunch of knowledge and information in there...
