The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
There's a 1/8 mile track bout 30 mins north. There's a 1/4 mile track bout 90 minutes south.
The fairgrounds are pretty large, they might have some kind of speed contest set up but I doubt it.
We do hava Hooter's tho!!!

The Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour, presented by Chevrolet and co-sponsored by Flowmaster, is the automotive Road Trip for hot rod automotive enthusiasts. Last year the Tour attracted over 14,000 cars and of that total 535 vehicles went the entire tour to earn the coveted title of "long hauler." The long haulers receive special awards and accolades and every one of those hardy souls wears the label with pride. Hot Rod Magazine and Chevrolet will award a Â’67 Chevelle Malibu, dubbed "Project PowerDriver" to one lucky person. "Chevrolet fans will have their fingers crossed when we draw the name of the lucky fan who will win this awesome ride" said David Freiburger, Editor-in-Chief of Hot Rod Magazine. "There is an added bonus; the winner of the PowerDriver will be our special guest at the Woodward Dream Cruise, August 16, 2003, and that lucky person will be physically awarded the car at that time."
The Hot Rod Magazine Project PowerDriver is a 1967 Chevelle Malibu equipped with a GM Performance Parts LS1 engine installed by Chevrolet engineers at the GM Proving Grounds, it features a GM Performance Parts 4L60E overdrive transmission, with a 12-bolt rear end with 3.42 rears and Posi, a Baer four-wheel disc brakes package and it rides on an airbag suspension system. The Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour kicks off in Nashville, Tennessee on Friday, May 30 and will cruise through Memphis, Jackson, New Orleans, Lake Charles, and Shreveport before it draws to a close in Fort Worth, Texas on Friday June 6, 2003.
