Default Ebay Coilover's

Hello All,

I've been waiting to replace my front shocks and springs with a coilover setup to better dial in the cars stance. I looked at these on ebay and just got an offer from the seller to purchase these at $386 was seems like a good deal but maybe too good to be true.

Has anyone tried these?

They are from a company Helix Suspension Brakes & Steering https://www.helixsuspension.com/cata...ng-Accessories

You are sure you want a spring that stiff, 500lbs?

That’s a good point. What should they be for street setup with SBC?

I just drive around town on weekends so biggest complaint aside from improving stance is over steer which I don’t think these will help. I don’t have a rear sway bar which I understand can help with that. So I’m doing that as well.

Those are about half the price of QA1 or Viking. Doesn't look like the compression/rebound is adjustable, which maybe doesn't matter for a cruiser anyway. Go for it and let us know how they work out for you.

For your driving, I would say 450.
You mention stance, that can be things other than springs. What size front and rear tires? What does the rear look like, are the half shafts parallel to the ground or higher on the differential end or wheel end?

I haven't done my rear coil overs yet, just the front. Pulled out a rear leaf or two. Made a Hell of a difference. 255/60s all around.

Top of Front drivers side tire to wheel well clearance is smaller than passenger side. I replaced the spring but still sits the same.

A bad or misadjusted rear spring will effect the front

That is a before and after picture, it is roughly the same side to side. If the side to side difference were that massive, there would be serious problems!
