Default 82CE Electrical Troubleshooting

So the front injector on my newly acquired 82CE isn’t firing. I’ve plugged a noid light in and am not getting anything there either. I’ve checked the injector fuses and they look okay. I’ve also confirmed that swapping the driver side injector harness to the passenger side injector will drive the injector, so dead injector is out. I thought about replacing fuses anyway because I’ve seen other threads here where people say fuses have looked fine, but they changed them anyway and it fixed the issue. Where do I go from here?

Not yet, unfortunately. I do have "Corvette Fuel Injection and Electronic Engine Management" though, which a schematic of the connectors into the ECU.

Recently had the 'choke' light on , on my dash. Rough idle, all the signs of the choke staying partially closed. The fuse (hard to get to) looked good, ohmmed out good BUT the fuse blades had a 43 year gunk on them. Wire brush fixed it, now all good. Just a reminder that fuses are cheap and your fix might be really easy. Worth a try.

So I went through all the troubleshooting steps listed in the book above, put new fuses in, checked voltages at both injector connectors, checked continuity of both injector circuits. Everything seems identical between the injector that is firing and the injector that is not. I'm starting to lean towards the ECM being bad because I'm not sure what else it could be. The car is also giving no codes besides 12. Does anyone have any advice searching for an ECM for the 82? My initial searches seem to be indicating that finding an ECM isn't going to be easy.

even Buccaneer has a hard rime finding good orig setup ecm's. but he has other workarounds. SOME ecm repair places say they have em and/or can fix yours. Cardone. that's it. but get Buc's opinion before going that route.

Forgot about a replacement ECM. The edge card connector can be a problem too. Try fixing the original ECM by replacing the output transistor.
