Hoping to put my 68 left dash pad back in today. Looking how the wiper over ride switch bracket mounts to the bottom of the dash pad, it wouldn't be grounded. Wouldn't it need to be grounded for the wiper over ride switch to function ?
A correct switch on a ‘68 only has one terminal, the switch mount needs to be grounded there should be a ground wire in the wiring harness.
Holy cow. I never, ever would have expected them to run the ground through the switch itself. even the schematic looked like it went through. 68 was really an experiment
