I want to thank the forum for fostering the courage to rebuild my front end and everyone in particular who helped with advice. I'm now at the stage to have the alignment done. Can anyone recommend an alignment shop in the lower Hudson Valley area who has the ability and will take the time to do the job right?
Regards,
Eirc
Agreed, No one loves your car as much as you do.
learn to do it yourself. I'm certain it'll take you 10 times as long. Cost you half as much and the end result will be better than any shop will provide.

I got great advice from folks above..
i will say though you need to look at the rear as well..
rear bushings inspection and alignment shims you will need to get regardless of what method you use.
My DIY skills are not as good as some folks so i found a person (many have a traveling master mechanic) at a chain to do mine. once i was sure he knew what he was doing i bought the one year alignment plant.. then i would generously tip the alignment guy.. the manager said i never seen him spend so much time dialing in the alignment..tons of rolling back and forth and adjustments..
starting around post 46 (and i have used the alignment plan for , differential, rear spring replacement etc..). https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...ispreloading=1
rear bushings can trick you too.. look OK but..
