Replacing the flashers
Anyway, to my question. I have been told by a member on the board “You will need to replace the flashers- both the hazard and turn signal one. GM changed the polarity (swapped the wires around) of the flashed I think in the mid 80s- so not all flashers are created equal.” This is the one I recommend- as the polarity doesn't matter. Plug it in and ground the wire-rather than worry about the polarity.

Getting the flasher will be easy as my son works at NAPA.
In a 1969 Corvette, where are the flasher located? Will I have to remove the dash?

Needed a new electronic flasher for signals, however the original hazard flasher worked fine.
At Flasher - Turn Signal NF EL12L1 | Buy Online - NAPA Auto Parts (napaonline.com) is says Flasher - Turn Signal. Is the hazard flasher the same? In other words, can I buy two of the NF EL12L1 for both the flasher and turn signal???
