Do not want to use any type of steel wool that can escape and get into engine. I want to install one on my 82 CE but cannot find a place to mount it in the crowded engine bay. Thanks for reading, and good luck with your can installation.
46, I have the same amazon one except no breather. Mine came with a large stainless steel type of brillow pad but if I put that in the dip stick will be useless as it will get wiped off... It does have a little cap on the inlet side with holes, maybe put something in there...IDK... Like You I don't have a good spot and as mentioned earlier I need to eliminate one f two breathers...

you will want to address either or both sides of the system, whichever side has the oil
keep in mind that anything you put in the hose is a restriction
so on the vent side of the system, a restriction will raise crankcase pressure during load, and increase crankcase vacuum during part throttle
on the return side of the system, you must retain pcv control, unregulated vacuum application to the crankcase is not good

we have all of this figured out, and have many great options for any power level
we find most oil separators fall into the 40% efficiency range where ours are 70+

happy to help, please do not hesitate to contact
