Apologies for resurrecting an old one, but really keen to hear if the OP found out anymore about these?

...or if anyone else can shed any light in the newer VN402 wheels and whether they clear brakes?

I'm in a similar boat - always been keen on 200S / Daisy Mags but it's borderline impossible to find them, especially in the right size in the UK. Info on the newer versions is hard to come by too, and the no returns thing make this an expensive gamble.

I'm not even sure that the newer versions 'look' identical to the originals.

I'd be looking at 15x8 and most likely 15x9 as I don't want to touch my rear arches.

There is no VN204 did you mean VN402 or VN420?
Summit Racing shows the 402 as fitting

I loved my 200S rims. When I could not get tires rubber that I could run in track I went to 17 inch minilite replicas

Slightly off topic, but to keep me going until I find some 200S wheels, I'm widening my original Rallye rear wheels. I notice that you did this by 07" some years back.

Couple of questions:
  • Did you have any issues with yours?
  • What made you go with 0.7" rather than a full inch? I'm tempted to go an inch, but don't want them sticking out too much! Hoping the right tyre / camber / ride height will get it looking right.

Thanks,

James

American racing used to make them with custom offset. No more?
