I just put the correct power antenna in this car with the correct harness. When I turn the radio on the relay behind the passenger seat makes a noise like a loud rubber band releasing. The radio is the original that was rebuilt by Doctor Don. Pulls in stations and it has been reworked with the correct three harnesses. Does anyone have the correct relay that is behind the passenger seat in the jack storage compartment that they would like to sell? Apparently nobody reproduces these so before I start calling junk yards I figured I would ask on here.
I bought the relay off eBay for $60, the only difference is the mounting bracket. It’s a NOS for a 78-84 Oldsmobile. The part number difference is the bracket which is flat on the original and bent on the one I got on eBay. Thanks as always for the help. Here’s a couple pictures of the old girl the day I bought it from my friend that was the original owner.
