I have a 1971 Coupe which has been fitted with a 1976 style full length (no wiper door) hi-rise type hood (pics in profile). Before paint I’m looking for a full length hood like this that mimic’s a stock 1971 (point in front) hood. Having trouble locating one either premade or a custom job. Any help appreciated.

Unless you modify a stock 1971 hood (and I guess you are talking about the base hood and not a BB/LT1 hood) I don't think anyone made one in the '73 and up length with the stock 1971 pointed hood.

You will need a stock 71 hood and complete wiper door assembly. If the cowl area matches the contour of your current hood you may need to rework your fender tops.

Not quite sure what you are looking for. Are you restoring back to stock condition with the wiper door or wanting a full size lower profile hood without the door? Is this it?
