The white nylon fuel inlet fitting seal is available in all carb kits for your carb, or you can get one from Cliff Ruggles or from me.
Your carb does not use a brass inlet filter - if you have that in there, it's wrong - it's for a Holley. Your '78 carb requires the use of a 2" long paper element, which comes with the gasket on it as part of the inlet checkvalve, NAPA part number 3052.

Sorry, this question is about my 1970 corvette 350 auto with a Rochester Quadrajet 7040203 internal filter? Currently the filter is a brass filter and the inlet nut is 1"...
Should it have a short paper filter? And how much for inlet gasket? (Rhmckosky@gmail. Com) TIX...
