I recently re-aquired my 81 Corvette for life of me I can't believe we drove these cars with these sealed Non Halogen headlights, so I would like to upgrade to LED or Projector looking for recommendations and sources and prices

I've been happy with the Octane Lighting housings with LEDs bulbs.

Octane and Dapper seem to be the two that came up the most when I posted regarding headlights.

I went with the Dappers. They had a neat feature that I liked. They sell you wiring so all 4 of your headlights come on as low beams. Hit your switch and all 4 come on as high beams.
Warning: The Dappers are pricey

I followed Daniel Sterns suggestion put in relays and heavier wiring. Hella low beams with special bulbs he provided them I put aircraft landing lights on the high beam. Truthfully they are a bit much, did I actually say that ? Yes they are unbelievable. But I have been thinking of trying led

I was just looking into this myself, I was going to go with sealed led headlights but you need to cut the metal bucket to fit the light or get a 3d printed ring ( which seems to be difficult to find the print file to ) or going the hella H4 way and put led bulbs in them, so interested who has experience on these...

I live in Europe so getting the octane or dapper lights is going to be ridiculous expensive with all the taxes they will add over here.

I hope I don't have to do cutting of buckets but all the people that have responded to me either on a public or a PM level none of them mentioned any cutting.
I plan on doing a before and after post with light differences and any problems installing. So until Thursday or Friday when they arrive

I installed headlight relays and upgraded the wiring and run sealed beam Halogens. Work great.

Had a 1/2 hour to do some vette work so I threw in the passenger side...so much brighter than my halogens, with relays and upgraded wiring and ceramic ends...the fans are small and zero cutting required. Only additional work I did was drilling the back for my fiber optics

Halogens are yellow and dim compared to Octanes...probably have them in and adjusted tomorrow

Is it best to upgrade the wiring with relay's when you install H4 led's ? I would think not as they draw less power but I want to be sure while I'm at it
