Default 77 Paint Question

I am trying to help a friend with a 77. A few months ago he lost control on an enterance ramp in the rain and spun it out kissing the quard rail with the rear end. Ther was no real body damage as the rubber rear bumper flexed and absorbed the impact. It did skin the paint up on the bumber and a small place on the side of the car. He wants to try and touch up the paint in the damaged area. My question concerns the type of paint for the rubber bumper. Is it special or will regular paint work. The car is painted in a bc/cc finish. If it does take a special paint can that be used on the small area of fiberglass or does he need to get two different paints, one for the bumper and one for the fiberglass.

The basecoat does not use any flex agent - the same basecoat is used on the 'glass and on the rubber. The urethane clearcoat can be treated with a flex additive, but most places do not use the flex agent: modern urethane clears have enough elasticity that adding a flex agent is generally not necessary as long as you don't lay it on too thick.

Thanks Lars, thats what I was hoping to hear. The car belongs to a college student and his funds are kind of limited. He is tryng to keep the cost sown as much as possible. This info will let him keep the amount of paint needed to a minimum.
