I installed the Borgeson box recently and it seems to have a bunch of slop in it (at least to me). I can turn the wheel maybe 1/2 to 3/4 inch before the box engages which turns the car. You can see in the video that the steering column moves the spline in the box but the tires don't move.
I've read a couple threads but most of the issues i see are elsewhere in the steering (column, pitman arm, bushings etc). I also saw how to adjust the box itself, which maybe solves my problem. The fluid is full and i bled the air from the system.
So.... does this seem normal, should i just adjust the box??? Thoughts?
My box came from Borgeson adjusted wrong (loose). A small adjustment of the adjustment screw on top of the box and it has been fine for several years now with no slop.
