Default Assembly manual part numbers

Is there any reference that describes bolt and nut sizes given the part numbers in my assembly manual?

I've tried to enter part numbers from the assembly manual into GM parts websites and get no search results.

It is difficult to convert the GM part numbers. The paragon catalogue has some pictures and info on head markings, sizes and where they go. Of course they sell them too. you can use that for some reference as well as the NCRS stuff

foundvettelifeisgood,

The Corvette parts and illustrations microfiche lists the sizes/threads of all the nuts/bolts/cotter pins/etc, by part number. The "exploded" illustration has parts descriptions keyed to the drawing. The Parts catalog has the part number and description for all parts. The copies I have seen are NOT in part number sequence, but the parts are in "groups" indicative of the system (e.g. engine, carb, suspension, etc.).

This fiche was available on the web until recently. I believe someone has posted them on another site, but I cannot find the thread right now. They consist of 6 different 20-30 Meg Adobe files.

Mapman,

I seached google for corvette parts microfiche and found this, but it's needle in a haystack stuff.
