I have a '77 350 4 speed on jack stands trying to install the swaybar links. I tried to jack up the lower A Arm enough to put on the last bushingns but all I do is lift the frame off the jack stand. I have new Bilstein front shocks and the the 5050 springs. If I put the front end down on the ground, I won't have room to work. So now what?? There has got to be a better way just have not figured it out.

With the car on the ground and the wheel completely turned, you cannot reach in to put the top bushing, washer and nut on?
It should be easy to install a swaybar on jackstands, too. Can you post a photo of the swaybar, and how the ends meet the control arms? There's a right way, and a wrong way. Is that spring in the way?
