most manufactures have the battery under the hood so it’s short and easy. On the C3 the battery is not under the hood and if you run good cables and connections the resistance is almost nothing. If you want to run another cable in the tunnel which is super tight be my guest but honestly not really needed.
i have two cars with LS swaps, both have rear mounted batteries and no ground to the engine to the battery.
Fair enough, I totally forgot the battery is behind the seat on C3.
Odd question, I am in the middle of doing this now. Where did you relocate the signal indicator and high beam indicator lights too?
Thanks! and I hope mine comes out have as nice as what you did here.
So if you look at my 71 pic and the center console you can see three small green lights and one red light.
The green lights are for high beam and left and right turn signals. Upper green is high beam. Lower green lights are for left and right signals.
The red light is for the check engine light.
The signal and high beam lights are wired into to the stock 71 pos wires and the stock 12 neg wires that ran up to the instrument panel. The CEL light is wired directly to the wires provided by the ECM/engine harness.
