Default Wireing question 1969 C3

Does anyone know where the black wire goes to in the attached picture? It’s in the engine compartment. It’s the splice in the 12G RED wiring just before the limit SWITCH going to the WIPER MOTOR. Don’t see it on the diagrams that I have.
thanks, Ed

If it is the wires that I think it is, it comes from the Bulkhead connector location "AY" and connects to a Red wire that runs from the starter solenoid to the horn relay.
Don't know exactly where they tie them together, the wiring diagrams don't show that. The image is from the updated 1969 wiring diagram that I posted a few days ago.

Hi Robertea,

I did not see your other updated post. But, yes, that is exactly what I was referring to. It does not go to where I thought it did. Thanks for your efforts updating your colored and very informative diagrams. They are more than helpful.

Regards Ed
